About Alta Ares
Alta Ares is an air defense Neoprime. We build AI-guided interceptors to counter drones and cruise missiles, along with the software platform that powers them.
Our customers are NATO-aligned militaries and defense institutions, and our systems are regularly deployed during live exercises and operational demonstrations across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
Founded in 2024, we have grown to 90 people, raised over $60M, and increased revenue 40× this year. We are now entering a new phase of international expansion, industrial scaling, fundraising, and product development.
Role & Mission
As Legal Intern, you will work directly alongside Alta Ares' Head of Finance & COO, and then Legal & IP Counsel — contributing to the company's legal operations across contracts, intellectual property, corporate law, and regulatory compliance.
You will be given real work on real legal matters — drafting contracts, conducting legal research, supporting IP filing processes, and contributing to compliance projects across a multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction company operating in one of the most legally complex sectors: defence AI.
You will gain hands-on exposure to a broad legal scope at a fast-scaling deeptech startup — a rare combination of intellectual depth, operational pace, and genuine mission.
